Time is a concept of human awareness through continuous motion, the awareness of events throughout past, present and future. The events that shape and build the lives we live and will live. Time plays no part in healing the wounds we receive from living and journeying through life, what it simply offers us is time to process how to integrate these wounds into our lives.
“Time doesn’t heal anything, it just teaches us how to live with pain.”
~ Itachi Uchiha
Pain can be the scars that forever paint our body and soul of the trauma of our past or tattoo our body with a story of resilience for our future. Time allows us to move in steady pace so we may process how to move forth. The wounds we carry are wounds so deeply embedded into our structural integrity that if not properly processed the inevitable will happen. Our mind, body and soul will fall and collapse with no way out.
Learning to live with pain will teach us how to move forth in a world full of pain. We cannot be scared to move forward, time is constant and for us to stop simply means we are left behind. We fall to our own demise if we can’t keep up. Take time to breathe, to pause and take in the air around us but do not stop simply because of the pain we feel and the fear of the pain we will face. Learn to live in coherence with pain and one day when faced with an obstacle it wont hurt to face it again.
Take control of what we can, factors that cannot be touched such as time do not need our attention. For what we do with our control, we can grow a stronger sense of self and beat the odds we had faced once before.
