My dreams are mine alone. There will be those I love that become apart of the dreams I chase and work for but ultimately these dreams are mine. I may not know what the entirety of that dream will look like but by believing in this dream and risking everything for it, slowly, piece by piece I can build this dream into something more than just a thought.

Because it’s just that, a thought. No one else will believe in something that doesn’t exist. No one can but you. Only you because its not just a thought to you. Its a future, a possibility, a reason you are willing to painfully fight for. That’s what that dream is.

I was 16 when I knew what my dream was, I am now turning 32 and that dream is something extremely different but still a manifestation of what was. I wanted to tell a story, become a story teller and eventually was able to do so with a camera. I chased that dream so relentlessly that eventually I got to see glimpses of that dream become a reality. I risked my entire life, there was no back up plan. There still isn’t. My dream is still to tell a story and now I am able to do so. I’m a script writer even beyond that, I do public speaking engagements sharing my story and allowing other people to understand what a dream is.

A dream is not definite. There is no one way, simply just a journey and if you continue to believe in yourself what you’ll realize is, your dream was never just the end. It becomes a start to something brand new.

My dreams became a start to a whole new understanding of who I was. My new dream is to continue to become a story teller but now I dedicate my love and time to the right people. I want to tell my story not just to the world but to them so that they understand how much I love them. How much they’ve changed my life. They became my dream in which I now see as a reality.

Risk it all for your dreams because no one else knows what you desire. It’s frightening but beyond the fear exist a great happiness that only you understand. Believe in yourself. Believe in your dream and where it will guide you.
