How do you know when things are okay? How do you know when your on the right track in life? or if everything your doing is going to matter?
We can have questions about life but not every question asked will truly have an answer. The moment our mind decides to bring forth a thought for us to conceptualize, is also the moment every consequence exist for thus idea. We take heed to protect ourselves from the harm that comes with everything new. Questions erupt and immediately we assume there must be answers and if no answer can be found, we deter away from the task to look for the answer.
I too was and am like this. It is a way to insure the safety of those I love around me and for myself but what I have come to realize is, these questions cannot be answered in the way I would hope for. For even if there is an answer, I understand that I will never be satisfied because what I want is control to make sure every thing will be okay. What we as humans yearn for is the control to make sure that life, our lives, is not subjected to all the negative possibilities that the world contains.
It sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? When put this way, we look at our lives and the questions we have asked. For some questions will never have answers, and all you can do is learn to live and adapt to the changes that exist with life. Life is unpredictable, life can be frightening, life can also be unexpected. So learn to enjoy each moment for what it is. With every negative, will rise a serendipitous moment to teach us what we were too fearful to see before. It will crash and burn the walls to the natural obsession humans have for control. Remember, we cannot control everything, we can only control what is within our means to control. Everything else is a means to mold our minds to an ever growing world. We exist along side the world, not to rule it.
