The Nature of Truth
Perception blinds us, making us ignorant to truths beyond our comprehension. But perception is also necessary—it forms the foundation of our beliefs. However, it must be balanced with perspective. It is within the balance of perception and perspective that our thoughts can be challenged and reshaped. If a child is taught that 2+2=3, then within Continue reading

Forged in Darkness
The presence of evil is but a sign that greatness waits just beyond the bend. In the darkest moments, if we can endure, what lies ahead is glory. And with glory, pain becomes nothing more than a scar—a testament to resilience, a story of bravery written upon our flesh. I speak from experience. In times Continue reading

The Illusion of Class and the Measure of a Person
The world is shrouded in false realities, deceit, and ignorance. We are born into a system that divides us—lower class, middle class, upper class—a structure designed to separate human beings. In this world, you are either judged for having too little or too much, yet few judge a person for their ethics, their morals, or Continue reading

10 Year Reflection
In 10 years, so much has happened. While some days feel like nothing has changed, moments like this grant me the grace to reflect and see just how much has passed. My life was once selfishly lived. It revolved around my own desires, my own wants and needs. Ten years ago, I could have claimed Continue reading

The Knowledge Crisis
They say, “Ignorance is bliss.” And in many ways, it truly is. To understand the world—the beauty and the wretched—is also to recognize the monsters that lurk in its shadows. Lately, my posts may have seemed distant, detached. The truth is, I’ve been struggling with something deeper—an ethical, moral, and existential crisis. It’s hard to Continue reading

Watching Them Grow
As you get older, you start to understand the quiet ache that some parents carry—the pain of watching the people you love grow up. At first, it’s in the small things. When the kids move out. When they find a partner. When they buy their first pots and pans. Then, it starts to pick up Continue reading

Brick by Brick
Nothing is built in a day. Everything meaningful—whether a dream, a love, or a life—is built, brick by brick. In the beginning, we know nothing. It’s only when we become curious, when we allow ourselves to care, that we begin to understand. And it’s through that understanding that we learn how to take the first Continue reading

Welcome to My Mind
Imagine a crowded room, voices clashing and overlapping, each one demanding your attention. Some whisper doubts, others shout insecurities, and a few linger, persistent and unshakable. This is my mind—a relentless space, filled with simultaneous thoughts of the past, present, and future. What I wish I could have done better. Whether what I’m doing now Continue reading

The Silence Between Us
There once was a man whose greatest gift was his silence. His words told stories, but it was the pauses between his breaths that spoke even louder. And there once was a boy who spoke too much. His words scattered like fallen leaves, unheard and unheeded. His dreams were suffocated by his relentless greed, disguised Continue reading

One Step at a Time
“One step at a time”—it’s what I tell myself when I’m feeling down or stuck in a rut. It’s a reminder that as long as I keep putting one foot in front of the other, no matter how difficult things get, I’ll keep moving forward. I have to trust that the discipline I’ve instilled in Continue reading
About Me
I’m no one more special than any of you reading this. I work as a custodian during the evenings but every other time of the day I spend chasing a dream I’ve had since I was 16.
I have always believed there to be more to this life and I hope with this blog, my stories and journey in life, that I can share my experiences with all of you.
