My Protector
An interesting fact about myself is, when I am able to dream, which isn’t too often, I dream in a very cinematic way. I’m not sure if this is due to the creativity aspect of my life but every time I dream, it’s with great cinematic details. This usually involves how i’m able to see… Continue reading

Road Block
I missed last weeks post and I’m sorry for that. It wasn’t intentional. Lately I’ve started to question my ambitions and dreams. The things that have kept me going for over 10 years are also the things I am holding onto for my dear life. I want to believe that better will come. I want… Continue reading

Do You Have A Purpose?
For every second that passes, for every moment that washes by, the world will continue to move on with or without us. What we have to eventually learn is, we aren’t special. It doesn’t wait until we are ready, it doesn’t care if we don’t know. We are the one in 8 billion citizen of… Continue reading

Are We Divided?
“Community” is a word I hear being thrown around quite often in today’s climate. Everyone seeks for community, seeks to feel a sense of belonging. They seek for something that is missing and communities are that for these individuals, a safe space to grow and develop. I, just like many of you grew up with… Continue reading

Am I Enough?
“Am I enough?” A question asked universally by everyone throughout life. We ask this question subconsciously as babies and throughout childhood. The need to be loved and wanted. “Am I enough?” Then as we develop into teens and young adults, the discovery of a world beyond our own makes us question our validity. We start… Continue reading

Take Control
Naturally I think I’m an anxious person. I don’t want to say I have anxiety because I believe everyone has anxiety. People self diagnose and used anxiety as a crutch, an excuse for why they can’t do the things they should be doing. Over the years, anxiety has been given a negative connotation, a means… Continue reading

Learn to See
Someone once told me years ago, “The silence you offer will gift you the ability of sight”. At the time I didn’t understand what they meant, but I think through age, in most cases, come’s wisdom and I started to speak less and just observe the world around me. I saw that speaking was where… Continue reading

Are you okay?
How are you doing? Is everything okay? Truly reach to the depts of your heart and answer those questions because for far too long you’ve lied to those around you saying your okay. It’s okay to not be okay sometimes. It doesn’t mean to break down and give up. Give yourself time to breathe, break… Continue reading

Doubt
I do not fear the doubt that is casted from others for the doubt casted by myself cast a much bigger shadow. All my life I have lived simply to prove others wrong. To prove that I could do what I set out to do and I wasn’t going to stop. That has led to… Continue reading
About Me
I’m no one more special than any of you reading this. I work as a custodian during the evenings but every other time of the day I spend chasing a dream I’ve had since I was 16.
I have always believed there to be more to this life and I hope with this blog, my stories and journey in life, that I can share my experiences with all of you.
